Upper Missouri River Breaks 2019

During the first week of May, we will be heading to the Upper Missouri River Breaks for a “series” rover only trip. The Helena gang has done all the planning and has a great trip coming together. We’ll be heading from Bozeman and Helena to Belt Montana. We will enjoy some cold brews at the Harvest Moon Brewery. We’ll then explore sections of the Upper Missouri River until the following week before we head home. We’ve received generous sponsorship from Rovers North, Harvest Moon Brewery, Atlas 46 and OnX Maps. We will have a photographer on the trip and hope to post some great pictures upon our return.

The trip was epic. I had to peel out a little early due to family and work responsibilities. However, it was one for the books. The scenery and characters on the trip were unprecedented. The star of the article Wayne is extremely honed. I hope to explain this more someday but I’m still a student. Maybe we can get Wayne to contribute an article to articulate the honesmanship that he carries on a rover trip.
